Country Girl

"Country Girl" came from a real moment in my military journey. Not every story is easy to tell. This one came from a dark place, from struggles that many of us face but don't always talk about. "Healing don’t always come slow—Sometimes it dances in boots, you know."—that's the raw truth. I wrote this because I know I'm not alone in these battles, and maybe sharing my story helps someone else feel less alone too.

I've heard from so many veterans and active-duty members who connect with this song. That's what makes it worth it—knowing that our shared experiences, our stories, can bring us together.
